So a little more about me, I was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware which where I spent the first 20 or so years of my life.

After high school I enrolled at Hamilton College, a small Liberal Arts college in upstate New York. Hamilton is a great school and I learned a tremendous amount during my four years there. I was a Political Economics major, which was a combination of International Relations and Economics, but I don't necessarily think of classwork as the focal point of my college career. I had a number of on-campus jobs throughout my four years and I helped to found and run the Hamilton College Finance club, which is currently still alive and thriving on campus. I spent my Senior year working in the career center helping students polish resumes, prepare for interviews, and ultimately find jobs after college, which was one of my favorite activities in my four years of college.

After Hamilton, I moved out to the Bay Area to begin work at Intuit in their Rotational Development Program. I spent ~2 years at Intuit and spent time in Corporate Finance, M&A and Strategy, and Product Management. Intuit was a fantastic place to start my career and I not only learned a lot from my experience but also made some great friends along the way.

In December 2015, I came across a startup Private Equity firm called Turn/River Capital that seemed like an exciting opportunity for me to leverage my mix of Finance and Tech experience to learn about how to become a tech investor. I ended up spending over four years at Turn/River, helping the fund to grow my an order of magnitude during my tenure.

Most recently, I left my role at Turn/River in 2020 and enrolled at the University of Chicago Booth to get my MBA. Getting an MBA had always been an interest of mine and with the global pandemic looming, it was the right time for me to go back to school.

So after living in the Bay Area for six years, I relocated to Chicago and will be a full-time student at Booth until June 2022.

Outside of school you can find me doing a variety of things to fill my time. I'm an avid learner and am always taking some sort of class or educational bootcamp outside of work. I’ve completed multiple educational bootcamps (coding, design, and marketing), got into boxing for a while, and recently I've been interested in real estate investing and have acquired a few rental properties across the US.

I love any activity related to fitness & health and spend multiple days a week either at the gym, running, or playing some type of intramural sport. I am re-learning to play the piano after a 10 year hiatus and in the winters I try and get a few days of skiing in. If I'm not doing any of the various activities listed above, I have a great group of friends, who I love spending time with.

That's pretty much me in a nutshell, feel free to checkout the rest of my site!
